Introduction #

Easily integrate Firebase into your Nuxt project. This module is heavily inspired by the official Supabase module and behaves similiary.

Features #

The Nuxt Firebase module is a module that helps you integrate the Firebase JavaScript SDK into your application. Simply configure the nuxt.config.ts to use most of the Firebase Services in your app.

This module supports the modular mode of Firebase v9+ to reduce the final bundle size.

The module adds a plugin for automated setup of Firebase and handles listening to onAuthStateChanged() for Firebase Authentication.

How does it work? #

The module adds a plugin to your Nuxt application that handles the initialization of most Firebase services and adds composables that are auto-registered for easy access throughout the app.

Currently these Firebase services are supported:

• Authentication
• Firestore
• Functions

Other services will be shipped later.
